engg at daiict.... a comparison

i'm just about to complete my BTech.. i was just thinking of the previous years..

first year..Freshers..new to campus, new to college life.. no idea about what will be taught here.. just tired of being preparing for the JEE for 2-3 years.. so, we found something new..something interesting.. no Physics.. no Chemistry.. aahhh!! what a relief i got that time..can't describe in words.. ;)
the very first impression of the greenery at daiict left a awesome impression on my mind..something really appreciative.. trees, flowers all around.. in all possible colours, which really makes you feel good... the cafeteria too looked impressive.. large variety of food was available.. it was really a surprise for me.. after living in hostel for nine years, i never expected that from a hostel-canteen.. :D
the best part of the first year year, apart from a little PDP what we had, was that no body had a PC, so people had time to talk with others..
after the first year then came the most exciting time of the btech... enjoying in the countryside.. lovely experience.. i will surely never forget that time of my life..

second year..we saw the next batch coming to our college..ahhhh..juniors.. really exciting time, becoming senior for the first time in life is nice experience..most of the people think that, it's the time to remove our frustration, whatever your seniors did to you, this time you do better than them.. thats the aim.. actually, i was not interested in all this stuff.. so, leave this part here only..
by that time, we also got a LAN connection, it felt like a gift on your 21st birthday.. Now, we just needed PC to utilize it at our best.. so, everybody started getting a PC..
courses came and gone..prof's came and gone... life went on... we all forgot about the greenery.. no problems with the food.. seriously, i don't remember when all that time passed.. and we were now.. prepared for the industrial intern..

third year.. we were the super seniors now.. wow, what an achievement!!
I never heard that the third was going to be that tough.. most challenging time at daiict.. many course were interesting ..but unfortunately, it seemed that all the professors, who were teaching us that time, just don't like our batch and all of them want to screw up our grades.. just one simple funda was applicable.. do any amount of hard work, you won't get a good grade.. so, the studying part was frustrating.. after all this, the only good thing was that the labs were over forever..
at the same time, we started getting bored of college food.. it was just starting.. hard days were yet to come(4th year).. in this duration also, i never thought of the campus environment, surrounding.. then RI came.. and after the farzi poster presentation, that too was over.. it was now time for placements.. everybody around me got placed.. now, came the last year of engg.

fourth year.. by this time, everybody is too bored of college food.. same comment.. "what the
hell!!", "same again!!", "anything new??"... the most common question.. "what should i eat today??"... always the same taste..god give us strength to eat the canteen food.. only, the outing to some restaurant keeps us alive.. ;)
i didn't thought of the lovely greenery from last two years.. suddenly, all this again looks so good, so fresh, so interesting, when i know that only a few months are remaining in the college..
after the three years of great experience.. the study part, lectures..pop.. project..viva's.. presenation.. midsem-endsem, don't bother us much .. now, just a BTech project is remaining to get a degree.. a project for which you are given 4 months of time.. nobody needs that much amount of time to complete a project here.. so, all know what to do in next sem...

as par my experience, my engg was just of 3 years..last year is to get prepared for the life after the graduation.. for some people, its the industry life(real world)...for some, life at some foreign land..pursing MS.. for some, life at some other college..some in management, some in design, and others..
hence, the conclusion: i will really miss it.. :S

bro-sis vs F.R.I.E.N.D.S.

Since last week, i had been thinking and discussing with my batch mates(boys), that why girls in our batch are more curious to have lots of brothers, rather than having friends..or may be a bf..

actually, what i observed in my 3 and half years of engineering life is that, all girls of my batch may or may not have a bf..but they (almost all of them) have at least 4,5 brothers.. some of them even have 10,12 brothers.. :D thats not a joke dear.. u can count for anyone... so, here's my conclusion.. 'Girls of btech2004 batch don't have have a word called 'friend' in their dictionary.. and they surely have a word called 'brother', which is even repeated many times.. :P many of them also have a word called bf'..

i just don't understand this yaar.. wats the funda of being a bro-sis, can't we be just a FRIEND.. ;)

learn from others.. thats what i think [part -1]

As per my belief, we should always perceive the good qualities of others rather than taunting them..

Yesterday, i was justing thinking about good qualities and habits of all of my wing-mates..one by one..and then this idea strike to my mind..that why don't i write about their good qualities which i may (or should) pursue from them.. so, here it goes....

ok..i will go room wise, starting from G-101.. and then increasing the counter...
hmmm..so.. first comes Sidharth(Sidwa).. he has one of that rare quality, which i really appreciate..which is his 'self-dependency'.. my mom is trying to teach me this since my childhood.. "beta, apna kaam swayam karo".. but, i am still not adopt this habbit.. so, Sidwa acts as a real life example for me.. this quality will really change my attitude..

now, second comes akhil(can't think of any nick for him..which he won't mind public.. :D)
anyways, if i will face any problem in flirting a lady.. or rather i should say.. in 'pata-ing' a girl... i will surely take his help.. :D

next is Vaibhav(Psi).. he is always updated with the world wide news(through net ofcousre, not through news paper n all.. :P ).. and this habbit is, no doubt, helpful almost everywhere
..and this thing can also help in getting a Wireless mouse in PPT quizes.. ;)

then his roomie.. Ashish(i call him Monk-bhai).. he is also similar to his roomie in that sense..full of knowlwdge.. but, his methods are totally different.. reading good books really helps can be proved after discussing to him regarding various topics... his this quality i have already started following... starting reading good books.. ;)

coming to the next room.. yogesh(juginder.. thats what i started calling him..since Jugendra Sharma came in Indian Cricket team...thanks jugindra sharma :) ).. hmm..from yogesh, i should(will) learn..how to care for others.. caring a person is also a art in itself, which can be hardly seen in anyone.. hey, Jugindra.. i really like that spirit.. :)

then comes, his roomie Bharat(can't disclose his real nick here).. his one quality, which i have seen in only him..among all the human beings i have came across till date.. and that is.. Multi-tasking person..i.e., doing 2,3 things simultaneously with full effiecency.. i think..Bill Gates should appoint him..and then they can work out with his brain and should try to find out..that can it be applied to theards.. so, that along with the multi-processors, multi-theards comp.. can we have theards doing multi-tasking.. it will directly increase the comp speed by n times...[ofcourse, n>1] just think.. hiw fast that would be.. 8) i will try to learn this quality in the remaining time left in daiict..

hmmm.. next room..oh..my neighbours.. shailesh(shailoow)..by the way, he is hardly seen.. but, still i am always fond of his innovative ideas.. which he applies everwhere.. something which always wanted in myself, thats why, i prefers taking his help in several matters..

his roomie.. karan.. he is perfect example which justifies that.. lazyness is independent of your performance(fodu-pan).. this kind of comment people used to say to me since my childhood.. actually, i too was lazy and still i'm (of course, lesser than him)..

will write the [part-2] of my first blog after some days... ;)

NOTE: bhaiyon koi bura mat maniyo.. agar kuch galta likha ho to.. :P
