traffic in Indore...

...is all about surprises and un-commonsense.. the new definition that I worked out a few days ago, when I was coming home from Palasia. The day and traffic was very normal, everybody on road irritated by the dust, most of which was generated due to the construction of road everywhere..which had been under construction since ages.. :D
Only god knows, will it ever get complete???????

Hmmm.. returning back to my new definition... the first highlighted word SURPRISES came into my mind a thousand of times, while driving when a guy on 2-wheeler just came ahead of me, no body can find out from where this guy came, and many of times there are high chances of occurring of an accident.. so this falling of a vehicle from sky is a kind of surprise that I find here. Even if you are driving safely, at any instant someone might just come and if your hand/leg isn't on the brake, then you are gone.. :P

the second word is something which even many of the intelligent people might not agree with..because they aren't aware that, however they are intelligent and they
applies there commonsense everywhere..but, not while driving..
It's something which is totally indifferent in every kind of people, either a person is highly civilized or a person from slum, everyone is in hurry..and to rush in hurry they forgets to use their commonsense in hurry and rest left is all un-commonsense.. ;)
which gives rise to the CHAOS TRAFFIC..
thats it!!

farewell from DAIICT

friday, 4th of april 2008.. we all got farewell party, which was the first indication that we are supposed to leave this campus very soon.. most of us don't even know where all these days gone.. and how fast we became engineers.. i remember my first day in DAIICT... new campus.. surrounded by strangers, a few batchmates..and so many seniors.. from whom you always have to keep distance..i always feared to go into those A, B, C, D wings after i had a PDP in one of those wings.. and i still feel a sense of fear while moving in the corridorsof those wings..even though we are all super-duper seniors.. but, still it all looks like.. all that PDP happened just a few days ago..
and I am new to this campus.. don't know when 3 batches left the college and 3 new batches came..

when i look at my room carefully.. i just can't imagine that i've spend 3 and half years in this room.. and soon i'll have to leave it.. i guess my roomie says right.. that when we will be leaving the campus, after that only we all will get a feeling that we are really leaving the college.. i guess it will happen when we will be crossing the main gate..

point is not that we realize it or not that we are leaving this place..our graduation is done.. but, what i think is that are we really ready to move in the industry.. those of us who are going for higher studies.. MS or MBA..they might not feel any difference.. but, those of us who are not.. like me.. are might not be mentally prepared for it, as think i am not.. :S
many people i know just wanted to pursue MBA right after the graduation just because they didn't wanted to see their college life coming to an end and they seemed this as one of the way, by which they could save themselves from being going to IT industry.. ;)

elders always reminds us that these colleges days will be your best days in lifetime.. you will not forget these days.. yaar, i know it..but, what to do.. how to make it more memorable.. i don't know.. or what else could be done... time is not controlled by me.. :(

now, just about a month is remaining and i just wish i enjoy each and every moment of this last month.. doing things which i might not be able to do after college days.. :)
So, I just keep telling myself.. thats it.. golden days are almost over.. very less days are there.. make most of it.. Soon, I will be fare-welled along with other batchmates to another world.. :S

Jeevandaan..

Just some days back, i experienced one of those days which I may forget in my whole life..

Same kind of thing happened with me some 11-12 years ago, when I went to my mama's wedding, my mother's cousin, in Bhind. Bhind which is just 20 kms away from Chambal River, famous for bandits. That day was a good mahurat for weddings, so there were many marriages going on in that city on that day, many baraats were moving simultaneously all around the city... Our baraat was passing another baraat which was moving in opposite direction.. everything was just ok..everybody was dancing..enjoying those moments..i was also moving with my nanaji with my hand in his..then all of a sudden something happened.. don't know exactly why it started and who started it.. some people from other baraat started hitting people of our baraat.. Those days people usually carried a few guns with them at the wedding time.. just to fire in the air, to feel proud and show their power.. So, when fight started, those people took out their guns and stated firing and throwing stones towards us..Everybody started running here and there.. And I don't know when I got away from my nanaji and all other people I knew there..all alone with some strangers, which I realized later that those were in our baraat only..there was a construction work was going on near to that place and people around me started moving toward that building to find some place to hide..and I also started moving with those people.. I ran..kept running till the noise of the guns and people could not be heard anymore.. And then with the help of one uncle in that group I managed to reach to my mama's house..
When I think of that day, one thought comes to my mind.. It was kind of a Jeevandaan and I will never forget that day..

When similar kind of incident happened with me, I thought of writing a blog.. it happened some 10-12 days back.. I went to Ahmedabad with two friends.. We did some shopping and walked a lot.. And then came to bus stand to get a transport to reach Gandhinagar.. I guess it was one of those unlucky day when Murphy's rule applies at its best.. suppose you are waiting for bus, you will notice that there are NO buses moving on your route, but there are many buses moving in the other direction.. So, that was that day.. :S
We kept waiting..waiting and waiting.. and there was no sign of bus.. and then a van came, one friend denied to go by that van, as it is always risky to travel in LPG vehicles.. so we decided not to go by it.. that van just moved a little bit and kept waiting for passengers.. after 5, 10 minutes..that same van moved backwards and asked us again.. by that time we were getting a little frustrated because of waiting for a long time for bus, so we decided to go by that van.. gandhinagar is just 25 kms from that place.. The van started moving..inside that van..we all could smell the LPG gas.. we thought that may be it is a usual thing in LPG vehicles.. we traveled some 10-12 kms.. by that time one friend started feeling a headache due to that gas smell.. Till this time everything was just normal in that van.. three of us were sitting on one side..and three people were sitting opposite to us..man opposite to me was talking to phone since he entered the van.. some stupid music was playing that time..I saw driver bending down and doing something near to the gear stick.. I thought may be he is trying to put on the radio..then he stopped the van near by the road.. I thought that may be he couldn't do it while moving..so he has stopped to turn on the radio.. but then he switched off the ignition of the car.. he kept doing something.. some seconds laster.. hardly 8-10 seconds had passed.. i asked the driver that what has happened.. and then after 2-3 seconds, I heard a word "aag" in a very very low voice... I don't know, who said it.. (later, I came to know that my friends didn't heard that word..) and then all of a sudden..driver opened his gate..the man sitting behind him opened his door.. man sitting opposite to me, still talking on the phone, opened ours door.. but, the man sitting opposite to my friend tried to open his gate, opposite to ours, but he couldn't.. all started running out to get away from the car.. the man opposite to me got outside, he moved to some distance from the car, still talking on phone..(i don't know how he could still manage to talk on the phone..because the first thing came to my mind was a BLAST..as we see in the movies.. blast in car.. then car jumping in the air..all that crap.. :S ) .. So, after that person I got outside, I started running, with my legs shaking heavily..I managed to reach to some distance away from the car...then stopped and turned around..and saw the two friends coming near to me..we all were too shocked by this incident.. Nobody knew what has happened in that car.. We just wanted to get away as soon as we could.. and we managed to get an auto rikshaw to get back to college..
Fortunately, nothing happened to that car in front of us.. No idea what had happened after we left.. Till the time we reached college, we kept laughing at what had happened with us and each one of us telling our own experience of those moments...then I came to know that my friend's experience was much more horrible than mine.. from the time when I heard the word "aag" in the van, till the time when i got out, started running away from van..then stopped and turned away, saw my friends.. their experience was totally different.. actually, as they didn't heard the word "aag", so when everybody started moving out in a rush, both of them couldn't figure out, what was happening.. when some of people got out, one friend saw some smoke coming out near to the gear stick, thats when he realized that something was wrong, his legs started trembling..as his side door had not been by the person sitting opposite to him.they came out from the opposite door and .these two people were the last two coming out of van.. so they had much horror of getting stuck.. fortunately, nothing happened.. but I again realized that this was my second Jeevandaan".. the god has saved my life again.. and I will never forget this day..
